The discussions will address various topics related to the quality, affinity and operationalization of groups of biological biodiversity indicators, which should guide countries in their reports to the different UN government organizations.

Among the main themes are the review of guidelines and definition of indicators, filling temporal and spatial gaps, providing information on capabilities and needs in terms of development, technology transfer and financing needs related to monitoring.
